About JEPP
JEPP stands for Jewish Emergency Preparedness Project, was established in March 2021 by a group of lay leaders led by Sherrie Savett and Vitaly Rakhman. It is an IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit entity. They recognized that after the "Tree of Life" massacre in Pittsburgh, the flooding and cold weather in Houston, Texas, and the antisemitic terror in Jersey City, there is a need to prepare the Jewish community for emergency incidents which inevitably occur. By providing educational courses and training, informed by world reknown experts in crisis management and preparedness, we will ensure that the Jewish community will have the best tools to deal with an emergency crisis and to build a stronger, united, resilient Jewish community.
