Strengthening Jewish Community Security: A JEPP Expert's Perspective

In these challenging times, the safety and security of our Jewish community have never been more critical. Recent events, particularly the escalation of violence in Israel, have sparked a disturbing resurgence of anti-Semitic incidents not only in the Middle East but across the globe, including the United States. The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) reports a shocking 388% increase in anti-Semitic incidents since the beginning of the brutal Hamas invasion.

As experts in emergency preparedness and community safety, the Jewish Emergency Preparedness Project (JEPP) remains dedicated to protecting our communities, institutions, and individuals from preventable threats and crises. Our mission revolves around instilling a "Culture of Preparedness." It emphasizes not only how to respond during a crisis but, just as crucially, how to prevent potential threats of all kinds.

Empowering Our Community: Knowledge is power, and we've equipped you with new tools to bolster safety and security within our community.

The JEPP Program of Preparedness

Excitingly, we can now offer the JEPP Program of Preparedness to all Jewish institutions, thanks to security grants from the State and FEMA. We aim to provide comprehensive security in these times of uncertainty. We firmly believe that every synagogue, day school, community center, and gathering place for the Jewish faith should be prepared and ready.

We encourage you to reach out to us to learn how you can implement this "Culture of Preparedness" in your institutions. Together, we can take proactive steps to enhance the safety and security of our Jewish community.

In closing, remember that staying safe and vigilant is essential. Our adversaries aim to intimidate us into submission, but we will not yield to fear. Our strength lies in unity, preparedness, and unwavering determination.

If you have any questions, need assistance, or want to learn more about our program, please don't hesitate to. Your safety remains our top priority.
